How to request a refund under the 60-day guarantee

If Initio didn't work for your firm, you can ask for your money back within 60 days of your first subscription payment. If your request is approved, your subscription ends and every account at your firm is deactivated.

Who qualifies

Your firm qualifies if all of these are true when you send the request:

  • no more than 60 days have passed since your first subscription payment
  • you have at least one lead you haven't declined
  • fewer than 3 of your leads have a fee agreement signed by the client
  • your firm has never had a guarantee refund

If 3 or more of your leads have a client-signed fee agreement, you can still send the request. The dialog warns you before you send it.

Request a refund

  1. Go to AccountSubscription.
  2. Select Request refund.
  3. Say briefly why Initio didn't work for your firm.
  4. Select Submit request.

The dialog then says you'll get an email when a decision is made.

Request refund is there until your subscription ends, including while a cancellation is scheduled or a payment has failed.

What happens after the request

Initio makes a determination on every request and emails you the decision.

If your request is approved

  • Every subscription payment your firm has made is refunded to the card that was charged, within 5 to 10 business days.
  • Your subscription ends, and every account at your firm is deactivated, including yours.
  • Your firm can't restart its subscription, or sign up again with your email.

If your request is rejected

Nothing changes on your account. You can make another request within the 60-day period.
